What to say, what to say...

I honestly don't know what to write today or what to write about this outfit. There is nothing super exciting about it, although I do think it's cute and definitely don't hate it.

I've definitely become a fan of showing socks above the boots. I don't know why, but it's so fun! I guess that's why everyone else does it too? Either way, it's great. You probably noticed I've been doing it a lot and that is why. Simply because I love it.

I'm gonna go now...not knowing what to write stinks. Feel free to write something for me in the comments. ;)

Give Me Some Pop

I just think this outfit was fun. I loved my hair (I used my braiding technique to get it all crimpy) and I think it matched the outfit well. I think this cardigan matched the blue so prettily and I love how the boots matched it too! Probably the boots were my favorite part of the outfit. They just stood out a lot but still flowed and matched with the outfit. Perfect.

And the coat? It's perfect too! My mom got it for me for Christmas and I adore it. Purple is my favorite color, after all. I've worn it three days in a row this week. So sue me...it's cute!

And speaking of purple...think of that when you think giveaway on my blog. It's gonna be a good one and I'm getting it ready. Tomorrow I will have lots of time seeing as I have NO CLASSES on Fridays! Yes! Pretty much the best semester EVER. Oh and did I mention I'm taking sewing? I've heard it's hard but I still can't wait to make cute clothes and showcase them on here! Sooooooo excited. :)

New Year and New Happiness

Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe it's 2011?! I'm not sure I can ha. This is an important year...why?
-I'll turn 20!
-It will be a decade since 9/11
-1 year until the world ends ;)
-It will mark me being halfway through college
-Once the end of August rolls around, it'll mean I've done this blog for a YEAR.
-A year ago today, there is no way I would have pictured myself where I am now. It just goes to show how crazy life really is and how we really can't control it that much.
-I will hopefully go on NYC Study Abroad this summer or do something else amazing (like nanny) out of state. ;)

Oh just to say, I am now posting in the morning, so every day it'll be the outfit of the day before. So for instance, I wore this outfit on New Years Day (yesterday) not today. I think it will be easier for me to update this way. :)

I'm so sad. Only a few more days with my relatives! And then back to school for me. Not sure if I'm excited about that or not. :P My cousin Alex is in the last two pictures with me. He's a year younger than me and basically we're like best friends because we are the only cousins each other's age and we have fun together even though we don't get to see each other very often (he lives in Massachusetts). I'm sad because I might not see him for a long time. He turns 19 in October, which means he'll go on a mission for two years! I'm glad he's going...but sad he will be gone. :( I'm sure it will go by super fast though! Who knows what will have happened by the time he's back.

One thing's for sure..I hope I'm still doing this blog :)

Versatility

I love this outfit because it is so versatile! Throughout my school and work day I wore this outfit with the pencil skirt and it worked out great (although, I admit, a tiny bit chilly). I think the tennis-type shoes (yes I wore them yesterday) added some casualness to the outfit. I was going to wear some more gladiator type shoes but when I saw what the temperature would be and knew how much I was going to walk on campus today, I opted for a more comfortable option!
Tonight I had a triple birthday party with my friends Kelly and Chelsey, and changed into pants and a white belt. The outfit still looked just as cute but it was a little more movable and easy to dance in. It definitely turned out to be a good choice because there was some crazy dancing going on at the party! I also didn't want to walk home in the with my legs freezing in the skirt. Anyways, that's my story for the day.. :)
