A normal day consists of:
-waking up and eating some cereal and toast
-watching an episode or two of Friends
-editing videos
-playing with/reading to my eight year-old sister Gracie
-random babysitting jobs every once in a while
-face painting and/or videography jobs throughout the week
-editing videos :) :)
-fangirling over things such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Carrie Underwood. The usual!
-eating dinner and lunch throughout the day of course
-going to bed at a reasonable hour and then waking up and doing it all over again
Things that have disrupted the normal day stuff:
-going to some amazing concerts
-entering contests to go to said concerts
-hanging out with my limited amount of but amazing friends
-family reunions
-getting ready to send my sister off on a mission. :'(
-dressing up at Comic Con
-being in the Savior of the World musical in SLC
-taking a trip to New York City! (more on that later)
-turning TWENTY-FOUR
-a trip with the fam to Disneyland
-non-exciting things like reading books, watching netflix, and playing games on my phone
To keep things pretty simple, my life is very much in limbo right now. I have no idea what I'm doing or where I'm going and I'm trying to figure it out while still having some fun. I'm currently living at home, and I still have one class left before I'm for sure graduated. It sounds crazy, but I know I'm where I'm supposed to be right now, and life is really good. I'm doing pretty great and I'm happy! There isn't much more I can ask for, although I find myself asking for things anyway (what can ya do?).
Just wanted to give a quick update, and I realize this blog post is incredibly lame and short with only one photo that really shows much of nothing except me being excited, but I'm planning on posting more detailed posts (yes, with many pictures, get psyched!) on some of the above things. Be excited, and come out of the dust all you readers of mine (if anyone has even stuck around, kudos to you!). Until next time, which will hopefully be coming to a blog near yours shortly. Adios!

So I really wanted to do a post when I was at 700, but turns out I missed it! Haha darn. (this was #700) So yes 702 isn't really that significant of a number but at the same time it kind of is because 702 BLOG POSTS! Yeah, that's a lot.
A little over seven years ago, this was the post that started them all. It's a teeny thing, but it started this crazy little place I call my blog. It's changed a ton over the years, with names (Kiki's Krazy World-ha!, An Outfit a Day, and eventually Peach Lemonade), themes (lifestyle, outfit blogging, fashion, my everyday life) and looks (man, I wish I had pictures of how it used to look!) I love what it is now. I always get so excited seeing my blog and I'm really proud of how far it's come.
I guess blogging seems like less of a big deal now, because everyone and their dog (there is literally a tv show on Disney Channel called "Dog With a Blog"--not that I've seen it) blogs.
But it's still fun, it's still mine, and it's still really great and familiar to me. I hope I keep it up for a whileeee. :)

never actually used this one, but thought it might be fun to share..the illustrations are some from when I was first starting out in design
One more thing: I don't think that most of us realize how much we actually progress. Seriously though! Seven years ago, I knew absolutely nothing about fashion, nothing about blogging. But seven years later, look where I am! Most progress is slow and unnoticeable but it is still progression. It's a lot like growing up. We never actually see ourselves change over the years, but I definitely don't look the same way I did when I was eight years old.
So that's just a cool thing that I think we should all keep in mind. We might not feel like we're progressing, but if we're working at it, or just doing it, we're moving forward, and one day we'll realize that we're leaps and bounds from where we used to be.
Over and out, friends. Have a great week!

I'm BACK!! And a post in which I confess everything to you. Okay.
I have not blogged since June. Which is kind of a long time. Although I doubt any of you were really wondering when I'd blog again, I definitely wondered myself. It didn't happen for a reason, it just happened, and that is really that.
Coming back into this cycle of blogging (which is honestly going to be weird to try and start blogging again, considering it's been a while. It's like a meeting a friend you haven't seen for a while--awkward at first but then it feels like you never parted--at least I'm hoping that's how it will be.), is going to be different, and in a good way. I'm putting all of myself out there and everything on this blog will be 100% honestly, me.
So to start it out, here is a confessional post of mine...things I think people will think I'm weird for but really they won't care about either way. :)
-I have some anxiety, and I think it's been there my whole life, or a big chunk of it, but I didn't recognize it until recently. I hate talking on the phone to people and I have a hard time answering emails back right away. Some I never do answer, and I'm not proud of that. It's not that I'm necessarily scared of these things, but my mind automatically thinks something bad is going to happen. I like to have time to react to things, and I can when I get a text or even an email, but phone calls are scary and as they are becoming more scarce, they mean a bigger deal than they used to. Also, a reason I don't answer back to emails is because I think I am afraid of my own potential.
-I want nothing more than to be the next amazing designer and see my designs walk the runways at fashion weeks. However, I stop designing and sewing when I get scared I'll try and fail. Just like I want nothing more than to be a renowned designer, I want nothing less than to be a "that girl with the crappy designs" or "the girl who copied what everyone else did" or "the girl with nothing creative in her head at all." The potential to be all of that scares me, and I know that I just need to go for my dreams, or I'll regret it forever.
-I've never been kissed, and I'll be 22 next month. No, I'm not a prude and I'm not picky, it just hasn't happened yet. And honestly, I don't know if it's something I'm okay with, but it is my life, so I kind of have to be, yeah?
-I'm obsessed with Harry Potter. I know that you know this, but for newcomers to this blog, I'm warning you now, I love it. I'm reading the books for the 11th time right now and I'd probably be at Hogwarts right now if I could (even if it meant starting school with all the eleven year-old first years). But really. I know there are people out there who like Harry Potter and who love Harry Potter. To me, HP is a lifestyle. You've been warned. :)
-I like dressing cute, but my new mantra is comfy and then cute. There is nothing worse than sweating on every part of your body in a cute outfit you picked out and not being able to enjoy it (the outfit, I mean). If it's hot, i'll wear cute shorts and a t-shirt and I'll feel so much luckier than the fashion blogger sweating her whole outfit off by the end of the day.
-And to add to the last one..I'm not a fashion blogger...I used to be (but honestly, I stunk and I look back at many of those outfits and laugh), but I'm not anymore. There may be the occasional cute outfit on here, but it will be occasional. I love designing cute clothes more than wearing them.
-I had an eating disorder. And for a time in my life, it was a big deal. Now, I'm trying not to let it be. EDs are something lots of girls struggle with, and they aren't okay, but they do happen. I posted my story back in March, which was a really hard thing to do. You'd think talking about it would get easier after that, and it did a little bit, but it's still hard to get myself to talk about it. It was something I hid for a long time, so not hiding it is a very different and difficult approach. That's a "me" issue, and not a "you" issue, but I'm working on being more open about it. Hopefully I will work up the courage to write and publish more of those "meaty" posts. I still say that if you ever want to know more about this, definitely email me and I will tell you...it will also help me talk about it more. :)
-I want to be different. I want my designs to be different and I want you read of mine to be different. I want my style to be something you've never seen and my life to be something you want to get to know better. I don't want to like all the same things that everyone else out there likes (like mustaches and chevron), because I hope to be unique. I want people to think I'm as cool as I hope I am or as cool as I can be. I love finding new and different but super cool artists that other people have never heard about (you will thank me: MS MR and ZZ Ward--there are others, I promise you). I love fine-tuning myself and finding my style in clothing, music, tv shows, books, and even things as simple as deodorant and shampoo. I love finding out what makes me unique, and I hope you will like finding that out through this blog too.
And if this post was just too long for you to read, that's okay, because you should also know, that however much I always try to help it, I always seem to write long blog posts and letters. Another thing that is just me.
But one for the road...
-I secretly enjoy memorizing raps. I actually only know two, but I know them by heart and I rap them with all the gangsta (that word just lost me all my credibility) soul I have in my little white girl body. In case you were wondering, they are: Ice Ice Baby and Can't Hold Us.

Sticky Stuff
When I wrote my eating disorder story on here, I wasn't exactly sure what reaction I'd get--from everyone else, but more importantly, myself. It was a strange mix of emotions that I felt afterwards. The day of was definitely the most emotional. I was scared, a little excited, anxious, and nervous all at the same time. It was maybe the most vulnerable I have ever felt in my life and the next few days after were difficult because of that vulnerability. It's hard to explain the emotions I felt that week when I posted my story, but I cried a lot. I was very very emotional. I was also so exposed that I felt like I was on this high and could talk about absolutely anything. I wanted everyone to ask me questions and talk to me about it. Obviously not everyone did so, which was okay and totally, but in retrospect made me feel all the more vulnerable.
Maybe like two weeks after, I kind of regretted it. I was shocked at myself and I couldn't really believe what I had done. I wanted so badly to take it back. Coming back to something that had been so intense in my life triggered me and I found myself wanting to sink back into behaviors a little bit, which was something I hadn't felt for a while. I guess it's a little bit ironic when you think about it, because I had shared my biggest secret with everyone, which was really really hard. And when life gets hard, I tend to want to fall back into my eating disorder. So without meaning to or trying to, sharing my eating disorder story triggered my eating disorder behaviors. Sharing my story also kept me strong though, and reminded me what I had worked for and what I wanted for myself. So thankfully I didn't go back, even though there were some days when I really wanted to.
Now my emotions have "sobered up," I guess you could say, and I feel like, emotionally, life has gone back to normal. It almost feels like I never really shared my story because I don't talk about it very much. After all, it was only one post and was published almost three months ago. I don't regret posting it though, because it was something I'd wanted to do for a long time. It helped others and it really helped me too, to move forward into a more honest and open stage of my life. It still scares me to talk about it though. I get a pit in my stomach when I think people might ask me about it, or I get really scared when people say they read my blog, because it means they might know. And maybe that's just part of my life, but maybe not.
I knew when I posted my story that this blog was not going to become an eating disorder blog. I didn't want that and I was pretty sure none of my readers would want that either. So for these two and a half months, I haven't written about anything ed-related. It's hard keeping the right balance. I want to talk about these issues and stand up for body image and against eating disorders, but I don't want to become this crazy feminist where that's all I talk about, so then I get worried and write nothing about it.
I hope it's okay with you, but I think I'm going to write about it more. Obviously not every day, and not even every week. Just like once a month at the most, or whenever I feel like I need to write something. Writing for me is therapeutic and writing things that I know people are reading helps even more. It'll be a way for me to get more used to talking about it. I also realized that if I want to help people with this, writing one thing about it helps once, but then it gets tossed back into the archives and only gets read every once in a while. If I want to share my story with more people, then I have to keep writing about it and keep moving forward, as hard or as scary as that might be.
Wow, this post was actually meant to be about something different and was definitely not supposed to be this long. Feel free to skip any eating disorder related-posts if that's not what you come here to read. But I hope that you will read them, to know more about it--for yourself and for others around you. I write these things definitely for myself, but also so so much for the people that read them, in the hopes that the words I write will help someone.
Anyways, thank you for reading this scatterbrain of a post. :)
P.S. If you are a new follower or are just passing by and wondering what in the world this post is about, you can read the story of my eating disorder here for much further clarification.

Thank You!!!
After the magnitude of my post on Monday, I wasn't even really sure what to write on here. I gave myself a few days off from blogging, trying to soak it all in. And I suppose the only right thing to say right now is thank you.
The night before I posted that blog was a restless one for me. I went to bed with millions of butterflies in my stomach and had dreams that night about how it could all go wrong and continuously woke up from them, only to see that it was 1 or 2 or 4 am in the morning and that my story wasn't scheduled to post yet. I woke up early and have never felt so scared in my life. At 11 am, when I'd scheduled to post it, I saw it on my blog, there for all to see, and then I shared it on facebook for all my friends to see.
In disbelief of myself that I had actually posted my eating disorder story on my blog, I shut my laptop and went to the local library. I was afraid to be at home, and I was afraid to confront anyone about what I'd written. I tried to catch up watching Project Runway episodes to distract myself because I was so nervous.
And then...the comments began coming, and the messages, and words from people I didn't even know. And every time I got one of those, every time someone so much as even "liked" my link on facebook, my heart stopped beating so fast and I felt relief and happiness.
Honestly, though it may have been the scariest thing of my life sharing that post, I'm so happy I did it. There are little things that occur every day that make it worth it to me, like a conversation about eating issues that I can contribute to more because I'm finally out in the open about it, an email from someone who is struggling and needs someone to talk to, the continued comments on the blog that tell me that it helped someone, and people coming up to me in person telling me how impressed they were by my sharing and experience. And now that I have shared with the whole world, I surprisingly want to talk about it more. I say surprisingly, because before it was super hard for me to discuss anything on that topic. I'd freeze up and choke on my words and want to run away from sharing. But now, I am ready and willing to talk about it with anyone. Seriously, if you'd like to ask me more questions or are struggling with similar things, just ask me in person or email me. Please!
Thank you to all my amazing and supportive friends. I never should have been worried about sharing, because of the great people I know who gave such an incredible response. Thanks for reading, commenting, or sharing your story with me. You are all amazing and I'm lucky to be in a world with so many great people in it. Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I feel really really happy right now :)

Back to Blogging
Soooo...I haven’t blogged for a month. Haha. Here’s my life summary for the past 30 days…
We also spent Thanksgiving just hanging out, going to temple square, and shopping on black Friday of course.
After that it was basically finals week. In the midst of all the business, I got sick with a cold on the first reading day. I get sick a lot, so I wasn’t surprised, but I still will never get used to the unpleasantness of being sick. Thankfully the worst of it was over by the time I had to start taking finals (which are now done, yay!!!).
That night was the party I’d been planning for over a month. It turned out to be a huge success. I decorated when I got back from work, putting cobwebs all over our back patio, setting up a banner, and hanging lights all across. It looked really pretty and I was happy with the result. I made a lot of food for it and had little signs for each of the food items. I had to go to work at 5 so my roommates helped me with making the rest of the food which was great. Party guests started arriving at 9 and by 10 pm, our back patio was super crowded. I was going back and forth replenishing the food and I had to keep pushing my way through everyone because there were so many people there. Someone in our ward brought over gigantic speakers so the music was blasting and everyone was dancing. It was seriously so fun! All the people that came (and out of those people, a lot of them I didn’t know because they were friends of friends. There were some of my friends I saw later in the pictures who I hadn’t even seen there!) told me they had so much fun. Successful night? Yes. Party throwing can be really stressful sometimes and the day of the party when I’m getting everything ready I tend to get super stressed out and wonder why I’m even throwing a party. But then it happens, it’s so fun, and I remember why throwing parties is one of the greatest things ever.
November came and was a busy month. Most of it was spent being busy with school, but the good parts were with family and friends. I went to my really good friend Sam's mission farewell. This girl is one of my best friends and as much as I'll miss her, she's going to do great in the California Palo Alto mission! I went with Lauren, another one of my really good friends, who also just got her mission call and is going to the California San Fernando mission! :)
The Nutcracker came around again, and this year my sister Sidney was the only one in it. At one point in life, Carina, Sidney, Cee Ryle, and I were all in the Nutcracker and I’m pretty sure that year drove my parents crazy. Sidney did awesome though, she had three great parts as a Snow, Reed Flute, and a Waltz. She’s seriously a gorgeous dancer, so much better than I ever was, and I can’t help but be proud of her and be happy whenever I see her dancing. She definitely comes alive on the stage.

Thanksgiving was a wonderful and much needed break. My dad’s side of the family all came from Wyoming so we had a full house of cousins and aunts and uncles. It was the best. We spent a lot of our time making a music video to none other than Gangnam Style of course (which almost has a billion views on youtube!). On Thanksgiving day we got the whole family, adults and all, outside to dance. Haha and our yard happens to be right on the edge of the road, so cars passed by as we were dancing to Gangnam Style. Our neighbors might think we’re crazy…oh well. You can see the video here.
We also spent Thanksgiving just hanging out, going to temple square, and shopping on black Friday of course.
My roommates and I had a little cookie making/tree decorating party with a few friends. We also made a nativity reenactment haha (sorry for the blurry photos).
I went to the Killers concert with Chelsey and some other friends. It was a really great concert—everything you’d want a Killers concert to be and more.
Bridal Shower for my freshman roommate Kelly!
A little over a week after Thanksgiving, I went on a quick 3-day trip to Boston and New York. We got to fly standby since my aunt works for Jet Blue. It was the BEST. I was in Boston over the summer and just love the east coast, so going back for a few days was heaven. Boston was spent hanging out with family and shopping, mostly. My favorite part of the trip was our day in New York. We did so much fun stuff. This is something that definitely deserves a post of its own so I’ll write more about it later.
Kelly’s bachelorette party, spent painting nails, giving each other massages, eating yummy food, and talking about boys of course.
No pictures of this either, unfortunately, but I got together with my best friends last weekend. It was the best because we hadn’t all been together since April! We keep in touch a lot though so it felt like nothing had changed. We’re going to be starting a blog together here soon, and I’ll let you know when it’s up. Right now we are planning everything about it and still trying to figure out a name.
Last week my roommates and I hung out (the first time all of us have hung out together this whole semester, sadly) to celebrate finals. We went to the mall and got tons of cute clothes, ate at Pizza Pie Café, and finished the night by watching Step Up Revolution. I love my roommates. I’m seriously so lucky to live with the coolest and nicest girls ever.
That’s the update and now that school’s done for now and everything is caught up, expect more regular posts. Blogging can be so much work sometimes! Love it though. :)

Swap Me a Button?
I just wanted to make it known to the world that I am now doing button swaps (I've been meaning to write this for a while but just haven't gotten around to it)! My only requirement is that you have 50 followers or more. So for any of you wanting to generate more traffic to your blog, this is a great way for us to both do so. If you put my button on your blog, then I'll put yours on mine (and it'll stay there for as long you keep mine up on yours) free of charge. If you're interested, then just email me at kikicbrownee(at)gmail(dot)com.
Thanks! :)

Blog Life
![]() |
top & skirt: F21; belt: Charlotte Russe; shoes: Steve Madden
How’s everyone loved my lack of blogging lately? (no one
raises hand) Ok then, me either. This month has been insanely busy from my
birthday, to midterms, to sewing my collection for the fashion show, and
planning an awesome Halloween party. Yeah it’s been kind of crazy and I’m not
sure I’m really expecting it slow down, but I am expecting myself to blog more.
I never blogged about my birthday (about a month ago now, but I think I’ll
still write a post on it) and there are a lot of other things that have gone on
that I haven’t blogged about, but honest to goodness I will. I’m not only
missing regular posts on this blog but also fashion posts. Not just ones where
I post about my outfit and then talk about random stuff but also real fashion
posts about the things I’m interested in.
Does anyone watch the show Pretty Little Liars? (Don’t
worry, this is related, I promise) For one thing, if you don’t then you must because it is so good. If you have
Netflix you can watch it on there. One thing about Pretty Little Liars is that
the four main characters on this show have excellent style, which is very
unique to each character, and just a few days ago I found a website/blog that
comments on the styles worn in this show, as well as many other shows and I’ve
just been eating it up. It’s so great to read! This was a reminder to me of two
things..
--one) that I love to dress cute and according to my own style. This is something that as of
late I haven’t been doing. I wear some skinny jeans, my grasshopper shoes, a
cute but comfy tee, and my BYU jacket. And this is fine, but I do miss always
picking a new outfit every day and trying to be creative with what I had. So as
much as I love my go-to pieces (and I mean love,
because they are the greatest, specifically my shoes and jacket) I’m going to
take more risks and be more “me” in my clothing and have fun with the way I
dress. The second reminder was that…
--two) I want to write about fashion! I want to talk about
my favorite staple pieces for the month and try and live vicariously through
internet window shopping since I have no money to actually spend on any of the
cute stuff I find. I want to expose myself through this world and share the
little knowledge I have of it with the few people that might read this blog
(which I love you for if you do).
So that’s basically it. I’m not really sure what this post
meant for the rest of you, it was more of an expression of my own thoughts that
I let everyone read. The jist of it is…I want to post more and be updated more
on my regular life and my fashion life. So with that, I’m signing off for
tonight.
-K :)

Quicky
Fail on my goal to post every week!!
My excuse is: this week is education week, I have to wake up super early tomorrow to drive to Provo, I was in Provo all day today, I have to go to bed early tonight, and my sleep matters more to me than a blog. That's definitely good, right?
(I know that people don't really care whether I post every day or not--you don't, do you? This post is just for my own sanity)
Expect a normal post tomorrow most likely!
K goodnight, sorry for like the most pointless post ever. This is barely a post, I'd have to call it more a "flash post."
Okay really though. Night!
:)
*I just realized I put every week instead of every day at the top. Proof that I am very tired.

Goal Crazy
So I've made it a new personal goal of mine to blog every single day, even if it's something small, because I think it's really important for me to write down my daily thoughts and share them with others. So if you read this thing at all...then expect some more posting!
I feel like I have been going crazy making goals for the past few days, and it actually feels great, because they are doable goals and things that I think I can really do.
Like....I haven't bitten my nails for a whole ten days now. If you know me, that's a ton! I'm the girl who's sitting in class or church or anywhere and she's biting her nails to the core. And it just looks so gross. At least, I'm pretty sure it does, as I've never actually watched myself do it. It's funny how this whole thing started out, because I wanted to paint my toenails this cute mint green color, but I couldn't find it! So I settled for my usual purple and then was so annoyed when I was done and I found the green one. I go through quite an ordeal painting my nails sometimes because I mess up a lot and there is a lot of nail polish remover involved, so when I'm done, I'm just that...DONE. But I wanted to wear the mint green polish so bad, so I decided, what the heck, I'll paint my fingernails, even though they have maybe been painted once or twice before in my life. So I painted them, and they looked soooo cute! I tell you that it was one of the most special days of my life and I had such a happy feeling. I kept looking in the mirror, holding up my hand with my nails showing and just having a big smile on my face because I loved my painted nails so much. Right then and there I decided I would never go without painted nails again. Which meant I could never go with bitten nails again if I actually wanted them to look super cute. And that was that. No nail biting for ten days and I'm going to keep going! I have a system worked where I give myself a reward on a weekly and monthly basis and so far it's going well. This is honestly such an exciting thing, because I have bitten my nails hard core my whole life and just never planned on quitting because I didn't think it was possible, but I guess it just might be. :)
I've also just been making goals with the blogging every day and really trying hard to read a chapter of my scriptures every night. Many times I'm tired and I'll just get away with a verse or something, but it really hit me when I heard someone talking in church about how if we don't make the time to actually study our scriptures, we won't get much out of them. I can't open them up and expect to always read the exact verse I needed to read and that's all. I have to go through the whole chapter and then I will find that verse plus more. This is what I think about whenever my eyes start to droop and I'm tempted to just read a verse and go to bed.
And then in church today, I was really hit hard by what a girl commented in Relief Society (which is an hour set aside in our meeting where women 18 and older go to have a lesson and learn about stuff to help us in the gospel. The lessons are usually more geared to women, obviously) about weaknesses becoming strong. I've heard that so many times but I guess the way she worded it really stuck out to me. I mean as humans, we have a lot of weaknesses, man do I have a ton! I bite my nails, I struggle opening up to people and really sharing or speaking in large groups, my room gets messy way too easily, I procrastinate, etc. The list goes on and on, seriously! A lot of times, we think that these weaknesses will always be weaknesses. And yeah, they might improve a little, but we're always going to struggle with them no matter what. But not so! Every single one of those things I struggle with, can become strengths if we really work hard and believe that they can become so. My nails can become really beautiful one day, and people might not even ever know how ugly and deformed they used to be. Or I could become the person who is early and on-time with assignments and tasks, rather than the procrastinator. It was just really cool to realize that if I work at this stuff, it doesn't always have to be a weak thing in my life, it can be a total strength.
Basically, I know that habit breaking is so incredibly hard. I've struggled and overcome some really difficult things in my life that I never really thought I could do. I hope I keep this happy attitude of goal-making while I'm doing all this stuff, because I do want to improve on these things so much. The happiness when you truly hurdle a challenge is indescribable. You feel strong and you feel like you can do anything and you do feel so happy.
And that's my post and thoughts for the day. It feels good to get it out. And if you managed to get through this whole post...thanks for reading. :)

Blogger Question
So the other day I expanded the width of my blog and in doing so, my header didn't go all the way across. So I made it the right size and had to remove the other one to upload it. But when I tried to upload my header it says I have reached my photo quota. So I uploaded it to my picasa web albums instead, but using the link didn't work either. I also tried using a photo link from photobucket and that didn't work as well.
So I don't know what to do now! My blog is header-less and I can't figure out a way to get it up there. If anyone has had this problem before or knows what to do about this, I would greatly appreciate some advice. Thanks! (And sorry that I have no header right now! :P)

Peach Fuzz
In case any of you are very confused and think you're reading a completely different blog, never fear! I was just really tired of having two blogs and also I was super tired of having this one be only a fashion blog, so it underwent quite a few changes...such as a new name, new design, and soon a new URL. I just figured I'd leave the same URL for a week, in case people don't use google to follow and come back to find my blog has just disappeared. So in a week, the new address will be www.peach-lemonade.blogspot.com and this one will say there is no blog at this address. There are also a ton more posts because I imported all my posts from my other blog so that they are all in one place! That one will be shortly deleted as well.
Also, I chose this name because well...I really love peaches and also lemonade and I thought it would be a cute name and color scheme for the blog. There wasn't a whole lot of creative input going into the name but I really love it :)
And that's pretty much it! I'll still be posting outfits and such, but also other stuff as well. Have a great and happy day!

Update
Grr..I'm so MAD my other camera broke! My dad is trying to fix it (he's wonderful and can seriously fix anything so I hope this camera doesn't break his record!) so I hope it works out. If he can't fix it though, then I will most likely buy a new one. These pictures are terrible not necessarily because they were taken with my point shoot, but more on account of the fact that it was at night, I had to use the flash, it was too dark and late to find any other good place to shoot, etc. So I'm sorry.
Also, I'm sorry I've been MIA. School is stressing me out! Only two more days of classes, then its finals, and then I'm done with Fall semester! Hallelujah!!! It has been a great semester and I love my classes, but the stress is getting to me. It always does...one of the reasons I haven't been blogging. When I get really stressed, I always get super sick and really nauseous. It's really awful and I dislike it very much. So you'll understand why I want the semester to be done and why blogging time has been turning to homework time instead? :)
I'm feeling super sick as I write this, so I'm gonna go. I feel bad saying this, but please keep me in your prayers, you have no idea how much I need it. I will be blogging more regularly probably next week so just stay with me, you guys are the best! I promise better pictures and happier posts and more stories of what I've done while I've been gone with my return....maybe even a giveaway..? (oooh!)

About Time Huh?
Hi bloggy friends. I'm back! Miss me? Let me explain my absence. I just stopped blogging for a few days...then I needed to read the whole Harry Potter book series before the movie came out, which was kind of hard because I had work, things to do, and people to see, so I was crunched for time. And then I went to Wyoming (and saw the HP movie in Wyoming and thought it was AH-mazing..anyone else agree? I MUST see it again!) for a week for a family reunion and to celebrate my grandparents' 50th anniversary. And then I got back and have been face painting with my aunt a lot and by that time I decided that I might as well wait until the month mark to blog again. Ha. Silly, I know. But it's July 27, and the last time I blogged was June 27, so I figured it sounds right. :) Anyways. I'm back in blogging business. Here's a few photos that don't even make up for the past month I've been gone...
Provo Rooftop Concert for Abbey Road with Jessica and Lauren
Going to see the hot air balloons with Jessica and Lauren
Face painting with my aunt and family on the 4th of July
Fireworks with our friends the Foutzes (Kyrie and I are almost the exact same age and have been friends since age 3 :))
Seeing a cool rainbow with Olivia and Katie and Heidi
Blogger lunch meet-up with Katri and Kelli at Chilis...soo fun! Lots of smiles and laughter involved :)
Hogwarts toenails
Watching a Harry Potter movie a night up until the midnight showing with roommates and people in my ward
Cute roommate pictures...love them :)
making harry potter t-shirts with my siblings
HP midnight showing :D
Fun with cousins in Wyoming
Lots of family pictures...this isn't the best one but its hilarious because of how awkward my littlest sister acts!
A trolley ride through Cheyenne where my grandparents told us all about where they lived, went to school, worked, etc.
I face painted all the little cousins a lot...I might be the favorite cousin now ;)
My adorable grandparents with their 50th anniversary cake
I tried on my grandma's wedding dress and my sister tried on my aunt's
A bridesmaid dress that my grandma wore in the 1960s that she let me keep! Such a cute dress and the picture doesn't do it justice!
Watching photos of my grandparents when they were dating and newlyweds
more face painting...
Enjoying the Wyoming air :D
My aunt and her kids came to visit because she's getting married on Saturday (!!!) and we got ice cream after face painting at a festival earlier and also to celebrate my cousin Jasmine's birthday
I hiked Bridal Veil Falls yesterday with some friends :)
My roommates and I all brushing our teeth at the same time
There is something else I should discuss. I think lately why I've had a lot of periods where I just don't blog is because I've really been trying to please other people with this blog and get lots of followers and stuff. The blogging world can be SO competitive and sometimes it really gets to you when someone else has more comments or followers than you and you don't understand why. It sounds kind of silly but its true. But I need to make this blog for me. That's how it began and that's how I want it to continue.
So thank you thank you THANK YOU to all who entered the contest but I'm unfortunately calling it off just because it was really stressing me out and its not what I need to do for myself right now. I really am SO sorry! And you have no idea how grateful I am to the people that entered. I think I might do it again soon, because its a fun idea, but maybe when I'm a little more stable with myself.
Either way though, I'm so happy to be back! I want this blog to stay a part of my life because its fun and I like it. It makes me happy. And that's all that matters. :D
P.S. Last night I watched my first ever scary movie, What Lies Beneath...all I can say is that scary movies are NOT for me. It might have been my first and last!
